Consulting and App Developer Relationships

Partnering with an app developer—as with any healthy business relationship—is a two-way street. Your app developer should establish a give-and-take rapport with you that explores all avenues of your app development. Since you're probably going into the process with less knowledge than they are, their method of consulting should be transparent and informative. You should be introduced to the Project Manager and other team members who will be working on your project. Most importantly, you shouldn't feel like you are on the outside looking in, but as part of the team.
